NTH conducts planning focused on strategic management and executive leadership. We believe that the formulation and implementation of the high-level goals and objectives must be implemented by an organization or a task force’s leadership. This must be on behalf of its stakeholders, based on consideration of resources and an assessment of the internal and external environments in which the organization, committee, or task force operates. NTH believes that strategic planning is only as good as the organization’s discipline and skill of implementing the action steps that flow from the strategic plan. Strategic management provides overall direction to the enterprise and involves specifying the organization’s objectives, developing policies and plans designed to achieve these objectives, and then allocating resources to implement the plans in the context of complex environments and competitive dynamics.
